When was the last time you wrote a long-form essay or a memo or a short story?
Most of us never seem to have the bandwidth. There is work to be done, assignments to be completed, Tweets to be shared and WhatsApp forwards to deal with. Despite the myriad commitments, we need to carve out time to write consistently. It is an essential life skill.
No one is born a great writer. We become better with deliberate practice, a special type of practice that is both purposeful and systematic. While regular practice might include mindless repetitions, deliberate practice requires focused attention and is conducted with the specific goal of improving performance. In the Network Capital Writing Fellowship, you will engage in deliberate practice as a community.

Network Capital Delhi Meet-Up
This Saturday NC members in Delhi had a delightful meet & discussion over coffee.
Leadership Principles with Aditya Ghosh (Board Member - Fabindia, OYO | Aviation Entrepreneur | Restaraunteur - Chourangi | Chairperson - Social Enterprises at SEWA | Former President - IndiGo)
Aditya Ghosh is a seasoned business leader with over 22 years of experience. Aditya currently sits on the Board of Directors of Fabindia - India’s largest retail platform; and OYO, one of the world’s leading hospitality chains with presence across 80 countries. Most recently, he was the CEO at OYO Hotels & Homes- India & South Asia.
Prior to this, Aditya was the President & Member of the Board of IndiGo, for ten years and turned it into India’s largest & most profitable airline.
Aditya was also a Board Member of InterGlobe Hotels and InterGlobe Technologies.
Aditya is currently involved with the management teams, boards & investors of companies across sectors, in transforming these businesses especially around challenges of scaling up; consumer focus; branding and marketing; financial sustainability; organisational culture and communication strategy.
Career-Product-Market Fit with Kaushik Subramanian (Ex-Facebook & McKinsey; INSEAD Alum)
Currently building products at a global fintech platform, with prior experience across product (Facebook), strategy (McKinsey) and consumer (L’Oreal). Recognised leader in tech with thought leadership in MWC, GDC, Digiday and Facebook f8. Passionate about building empowered teams and culture.
Kaushik enjoys collecting single malt whisky, geeking out on trivia, and coaching people.
Ashley Massengill, an online course creator said, “My life changed when I launched my online business and course.” In 40 minutes of launching her course, she earned $1 Million Dollars.
Kiran’s career choice is not one-off. We are witnessing a large number of ambitious, highly accomplished professionals who are venturing into the passion economy, creating a niche and scaling it step by step. This broadening of the professional landscape creates new avenues for young professionals to apply their skills and curiosities. Their futures are not pre-ordained, they don’t feel obliged to follow a script for their careers and their lives. It is the uncharted exploration of new economic and social possibilities that provide hope for everyone.
From the beginning BTS lyrics focused on being authentic, relatable and empathetic. Self-care, love, personal growth are recurring themes in their music. They have never tried to project a larger than life image. Each member of BTS has cried on camera, and talked openly about the challenges in their lives.
