Ed-Tech Fellowship
Historically education was an amorphous bundle of core skills, soft skills, critical thinking, signaling value and networking (think of school as a place where kids go to socialize. What we are witnessing now is the great unbundling of education where different companies and communities are attempting to capture one part of the bundle. What that means is that education companies these days are fundamentally different than the educational institutions we are all familiar with.
In this 3 week-long fellowship, we will -
Unpack the trends in the Ed-Tech industry
Learn from insights the best Ed-Tech operators and investors
Help you build your Ed-Tech thesis
In the past, we have hosted people like Ronnie Screwvala (co-founder of UpGrad), Azeez Gupta (co-founder of Rocket Learning), and Mercedes Bent (Partner, Lightspeed Ventures).
Upcoming Sessions
To kick-off the Ed-Tech Fellowship, we hosting two incredible Ed-Tech leaders on Network Capital this week.

Nas X and Internet Subcultures
Montero Lamar Hill, also known by his stage name Lil Nas X, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, and media personality. He rose to prominence with the release of his country rap single "Old Town Road", which first achieved viral popularity in early 2019 before climbing music charts internationally and becoming diamond certified by November of that same year.
Now, in 2021, he had achieved the unimaginable, a feat only dreamed of by some of his peers who had gone from anonymity to the top of the charts — he made another hit song, and a brazenly gay one at that. He sings well and has strong stage presence but a part of his success comes from intimately understanding internet culture.
Immigrant Hustle, Augmented Reality and Future of Healthcare with Dr. Nadine Hachach-Haram
Nadine Hachach-Haram is a practising surgeon and co-founder of healthtech company Proximie. Having qualified as a surgeon, Nadine saw an opportunity to use emerging technologies to improve access to healthcare by using everyday devices like laptops and smartphones, combined with cutting edge Augmented Reality (AR) software.
