Yangyang Cheng is an auditor turned standup comic who moved to the United States to teach Chinese at Pepperdine University. Soon after, she became a household name in China as the host of the hit TV show “Hollywood Lifestyle”. Today, she is the co-founder of YoYo Chinese, an edtech company that has helped almost a million English speakers learn Mandarin online. There is no doubt that Cheng is smart but her competitive advantage is her adaptability quotient or AQ, the ability to change course and repivot in response to unanticipated changes.
