“There’s no such thing as good writing, only good rewriting.”
How to write when Chat GPT can do most of it
BLDR Ventures Co-Founder Nafez Dakkak writes about how ChatGPT can now augment (and nearly replace) everything a teacher does, end-to-end:
Ask ChatGPT to create a syllabus for you on your topic of choice
Then ask it to create the script for the first lesson or two.
Modify and edit the script to make sure it’s accurate
Plug that into a tool like Synthesia.
Upload these “lectures” to your hosting platform of choice.
Voila
I teach a class on business strategy to undergrads. Among the more useful things I do as a teacher is to give my students an exposure to real world problems, the broader network in Oxford and practical case studies that make their learning tangible.
The picture below is of some my students at Oxford Union listening to the former head of Wall Street Journal. They chatted with him after the event and went back with stars in their eyes about adventures, possibilities and challenges in the field of journalism. It is difficult to replace the sheer dynamism of meaningful dialogue.
