On November 16, 2023, the World Health Organisation declared loneliness as a ‘global public health concern’. This announcement comes as global institutions realign themselves to post-COVID19 realities and reconsider their priorities. It comes as an important window of opportunity for us to consider the experiences of digital loneliness and its consequences on the political practicalities of lives.
