The future of Network Capital + 5ire.org

Dear community members,

On September 6, I left for Poland to launch my new book. It was fascinating to meet academics from around the world who spoke fluent Hindi. I never thought I would end up discussing passion economy in my mother tongue to a room full of Europeans in a tiny town called Poznan. Such is life, I guess. The most thrilling adventures come unannounced.

May be an image of 6 people, people sitting, people standing and indoor

I was supposed to come home on Sep 10 but my flight got cancelled after an 8 hour delay. I was offered 2 Euros as compensation for lost time. Anyway, I wound up staying an extra night at the Adam Mickiewicz University. Around 2 am I received an email from 5ire.org (**We had several rounds of discussions before the email of course). That email created this whirlwind of a week that many of you might have read about.

The $1.5 Billion unicorn bought a stake in Network Capital and I took on the role of Chief Marketing Officer of 5ire.org in addition to my job as the CEO of Network Capital. Lots of newspapers covered it. The Economic Times, Mint, Business World, Business Today, Inc 42 included details of the deal. You can read it if time permits. Today’s newsletter isn’t about past laurels. It is about the future. Let’s dive in.
