On Network Capital we love engaging with the idea of individuals building a portfolio of careers. The idea that we don’t necessarily need to be limited by one professional interest and can pursue parallel interests at the same time is gaining momentum. 

Earlier last week, I was invited by the founder of GenZ VC — Meagan Loyst — for dinner. Our conversation started with the adventures of writing and publishing and found its way to an Instagram reel Meagan was editing that day. In the reel, she talks about her portfolio of careers and how she manages her time as she pursues multiple interests. Our discussion on time management snowballed into a larger conversation on loyalty.
