Over the past few months, I have been considering curating a collection of 100 great books and thinkers.

Why? Most people have heard of Marx, Weber, Proust, and Smith, but can’t really explain what they said/stood for at the time.

Going through this text-based course will help you and me become a bit more curious.

This is not a comprehensive list, but we need to start somewhere. If a book piques your interest, go deep. If it doesn’t, familiarize yourself with the basic concepts and move forward. The key is to complete the course. Knowing the basics of the 100 foundational texts can change the way you think, converse, and write.

You will be shocked at how little we know.

How will this work?

  • Week after week, you will get 100 short summaries in this newsletter

  • Each summary is enough for you to know the basics. You will be able to answer what the book is about, why you should care, and why it matters

  • Towards the end, we will compile them in the form of an illustrated book

Let’s get started with Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince.
