Dear Members,
I am back from Morocco after a friend’s wedding. It was great to reconnect with old pals and celebrate new beginnings. Fun fact: This friend met his wife at another friend’s wedding he almost missed. Life lesson: Show up. It could change your life.
The quality of our relationships is the single biggest contributor to long-term happiness and well-being. Over the years, as life has progressively become busier, I have always found time for friends and community members. It is perhaps the thing that gives me the most meaning.
Casablanca is a charming city. Among other things, I discovered butter chicken in a French restaurant operational since 1926. I am skeptical of what French butter chicken looks and tastes like (I didn’t order it) but it tickled the Indian in me.

From Morgan Housel
“I’m not interested in anything that’s not sustainable. Friendships, investing, careers, podcasts, reading habits, exercise habits. If I can’t keep it going, I’m not interested in it.”
Tail-end events matter much more than we realize. The biggest decision Housel ever took was to not go for another round of skiing with his friends during his teens. Unfortunately, they passed away in a freak snow crash that day but it could very well have been him.
Rich and unknown is a better position to strive for than famous and rich (or poor)
